Recently, while shopping at Sam’s Club, I noticed they were selling Starbucks Limited Edition Holiday Blend Coffee. I was pleased to find a 28 oz. bag was only $18.98 ! Starbucks Holiday Blend is usually sold as 16 oz. for about $14.00 so I am saving around $10.00 by buying this in bulk! I LOVE Starbucks Coffee and I was excited to try the Holiday Blend. I also found some Mini Cinnamon Rolls to pair up with the coffee at Sam’s Club too! They looked SO good that I just couldn’t resist!
I remember the first time I went to a Starbucks was in 2001 on a trip to NYC. My friend convinced me to try a Caramel Frappuccino and my life….was… changed!!! Now that my college days are over I can’t just run up to Starbucks anytime that I want a latte, but I do go once or twice a month. That is why I love that I can buy the bags of Starbucks Coffee at the grocery store and make my own. So how was the Holiday Blend???
I wish you could smell this! I knew as soon as I opened the bag that this was going to be a wonderful tasting coffee! The smell was rich and deep!
Since I bought the bulk sized package I am going to store most of the coffee in seal-able freezer bags divided into weekly portions. I also take a straw and suck out the air from the bag before closing it. I then wrap each bag tightly in plastic wrap. I store all of the coffee in an air tight container away from light and only open one bag at a time. This is what works for me and I have never had a problem with stale beans or funky flavors!
I make my coffee using a French Press because I like how it retains all the flavors from the beans.
The coffee filled the house with the most wonderful aroma and my hubby was waiting close by as I poured the coffee in the cups! 😉
Can you see my heart in the coffee? I attempted to make a little latte art in my Starbucks Holiday Blend brew and obviously I really need some practice!!! The taste, however, was not affected by my sad attempt at latte art!
The coffee and cinnamon rolls were perfect compliments to each other.
I tried the coffee first. It was smooth with a spicy, sweet and slightly citrus flavor. It wasn’t too acidic or bitter which is just how I like it!
Then I tried the coffee with the cinnamon rolls. I love how I could taste hints of cinnamon and nutmeg in the Starbucks Holiday Blend once I tried them both together. They really made a great pair for my morning pick me up! My hubby tried them too and loved how they paired as well. He really liked the hint of cloves and cinnamon he tasted in the coffee once he tried the two together!
I am so glad that I got the big bag of the Starbucks Holiday Blend so that it will last a long time! This coffee will be a part of my morning routine throughout the Holiday Season!
News Flash::: Sam’s Club will open at 7am on Black Friday and will greet members with free Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee and Artisan Fresh pastries (while supplies last)!

Yum! I really loved this coffee, too. I have never had trouble with bulk coffee going bad. We must drink it too fast around here... ;-)

Oh my goodness, what beautiful pictures!!! Your cinnamon rolls look so good, I wish I could just pick one right out of the computer lol. I love using a French Press too, it really does bring out the flavor of the coffee perfectly. Love the Holiday Blend too, and what a terrific savings on buying it at Sam's Club.
