This dip totally took me by surprise… in a good way. Surprised because I didn’t think the flavors would mesh but I couldn’t stop thinking about the possibility. It’s not often that you see sour cream and pasta sauce mixed together, but this is knock-your-socks-off good. The best part is that it only takes 3 ingredients to make, which means you can whip this up in the spur of a moment. I like to keep parmesan, sour cream and pasta sauce stocked year round, so this was a no-brainer.
I love easy recipes like this because it seems I am always doing things last minute for get-togethers. In fact, I am always doing things last minute (Type b here). This is not good when the big game is a day away and ALL the procrastinators are at the store. Easy solution… 3 Ingredient Creamy Tomato Dip. It’s a super dip that totally saves the day.
Easy always takes a back seat to tasty, though. It’s got the best of both worlds.

This was so easy and really, really good. I had a tiny bit of leftover pasta sauce and a tiny bit of sour cream that wasn't enough for even one on its own. Mixed it together with the Parmesan and it was perfect over a serving of gluten free pasta for lunch. Thanks for the great idea!
