Kraft-Heinz sponsored this post, but the opinions are my own.
I get stuck in a rut sometimes where I feel like all I say is “no” to my kids. They do ask some
strange requests sometimes, but I know some of the things they ask could be things that I could say yes to. Usually we don’t have the time to fulfill all the yeses, but I thought it would be fun to have a day of yes. Sometimes it’s just simply a snack that they are asking to buy at the store or asking for something they can play with.
Yesterday we made a day of “yes” and we all really enjoyed it! It was a great way to find out what they really like and what they really need from me. I thought my kids might ask for things that were ridiculous, but they made some pretty fun requests.
My 3 year old loved the day of yes the most. He’s still too young to understand the “whys” of the word no sometimes. This usually causes a few tantrums and meltdowns, but a day of yes helps him to realize that there are things I will let him do. His favorite part of the day was coloring and drinking his Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Strawberry Kiwi drink.
My kids are always requesting fruity sweet drinks and I usually say no to that. We don’t even keep pop or sweet drinks in the house. I did find a better for you option for my kids and it’s the Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters flavored water. I found the Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Strawberry Kiwi at Walmart in the bottled drinks isle.
My kids love the flavor of the Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Strawberry Kiwi. It has a nice sweet fruity taste and helps to satisfy them. I also love that we can see into the bottom of the pouches now! You can actually see the goodness. There are no artificial flavors, no preservative, no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial sweeteners in the Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters drinks. I really don’t mind saying YES to Capri Sun and the rest of the day goes much better.
What was one of the funnest things I said yes to? The boys wanted to sit on the tractors at the store and it was the perfect thing to say yes to! They looked so cute and it was the perfect photo opportunity.
We ended our day with a family meal that the kids chose! It was a special day of doing whatever they wanted and I am glad we spent it together.
What will you say yes to?
