Tutorial: Eco Wall Flowers

White Cloud the makers of paper towel and TP are having a contest to see who can come up with the best craft project using bath tissue and or paper towels. This is my entry and of course the tutorial to go with it!  It actually turned out great and I love it on the wall!

what you will need:
Toilet paper and paper towel rolls I used about 7 TP rolls and 2 paper towel rolls.
sissors
hot glue
scrapbook paper for the flowers and leaves
buttons for the flowers
Let’s get started!

First cut the rolls into one inch strips for the flowers (5 petals for each flower).  Then cut 1/2 inch flowers for the petals.
Then hot glue the flower petals into rings of 5.  I ended up using 5 flowers.

what it will look like when glued:

Then place all the petals the way you want them around the flowers:

Then trace one the petals and cut it out to make a pattern.  Trace as many petals and leaves as you need to fill each hole.

Cut them all out and bend each one lightly down the middle lengthwise.  Then place a small amount of hot glue just at the edge of the tip of the petal and then place on the cardboard petals or leaves right where  you want it.

Once your finished getting all those little pieces of paper stuck to the frame then place a button in the middle of each flower with hot glue.  Here is the last pic of it on the wall!

Easy, VERY cheap and totally cute!

Happy Creating!

I just stuck a nail in the wall and hung it. Since the TP roll sticks out and is so light... its easy to hang. Thanks!
