I missed posting last week’s pregnancy recipe because we have been in Florida for a blogging conference and vacation. It was a blast, but at 31 weeks pregnant I was ready to be home too. Since the baby is the size of a pineapple I thought it was the perfect time to be in a tropical like setting on the beach! 🙂 I was inspired to make this Teriyaki Steak with Pineapple Salsa and it turned out amazing. I am also glad to say that because of a new knife set I received from Calphalon I am able to dice up a pineapple in no time.
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Calphalon. I received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for my participation. #KnifeSkills
The beach also inspired a little Hula to happen… and lots of laughs from everyone around watching this unfold! I can’t believe there are only 8 weeks left until the due date!
My new Calphalon Contemporary Self-Sharpening 15-pc. Cutlery Set with SharpIN Technology is simply amazing. The knives I had before were really dull after 10 years and I was really interested in these because they are self sharpening. This set features the SharpIN Technology which has ceramic sharpeners are built into the slots of the stainless steel part of each storage block to automatically sharpen knives with every use! Now every time I remove or replace a knife it is automatically sharpened at the correct angle. Nothing gets in the way of dinner prep like a dull knife can and since having these dinner prep has been so easy! Even dicing up a pineapple is a piece of cake now!
These are available in 3 models:

I love the way that these knives have made dinner prep so much easier. The last thing I want to be doing at 31 weeks is struggle through chopping and cutting in the kitchen! This set is perfect for any kitchen because of the effortless slicing no matter the job.
