In my dream world, when 6pm rolls around, I will have dinner already finished. Luckily on Manwich Monday that dream is a reality. Manwich Monday is a great way to kick-off the week with a tasty, easy-to-make, family meal around the dinner table. This past Monday I made a delicious shredded beef in the crockpot using the Thick and Chunky Manwich sauce. It was simple to make and tasted amazing. I decided to use the beef and other toppings to make a Sweet and Tangy Shredded Beef Flatbread Pizza. It was a big hit with the family and I can’t wait to make it again.
The Thick and Chunky Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce was perfect for the slow cooker meat. They also have Manwich Original and Manwich Bold. These sauces have no meat and make a great sauce for many things, but especially Sloppy Joes, sandwiches and pastas.
The resulting meat was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned with the Manwich sauce. I love how the tangy sauce mingled with the savory beef. We like to eat the beef on it’s own this way as well as on flatbread pizzas.
Since the meat cooks all day I can come home and finish dinner in as little as 10 minutes. I buy my flatbreads pre-made. The kind I buy is actually Naan bread, but you can use any kind of flatbread or pita. If your kids don’t care for cilantro or onions you can leave those off and it’s just as good!
