Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party! Best Slumber Party ideas with such cute themed treats! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

My girls and I love Sleeping Beauty and so we were really excited to find out that Disney was releasing it from the vault this year!  My girls are getting a little older now and it’s the age when they want to have their friends over all night.  I decided that it would be fun to have a Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party over fall break with their friends!   I got together with my best friend and we threw the party at her house!  It was so much fun and the girls had a blast talking all night long and watching sleeping beauty!Party Planning Checklist! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop Whenever planning a party, I always make a list!  Here is a great list to get you started and you can print it off if you like.

Sleeping Beauty Slumber Party American Greetings Paper Goods! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

I found these pretty American Greetings Disney Princess plates, napkins, cups and crowns at Walmart!  It makes shopping so much easier when I can pick up most of the supplies in one place.

Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party Robes! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

As soon as the princesses arrived they received their own princess robe!  I asked the moms ahead of time which color their girls would want out of pink or blue.  The girls had fun with their “Make it Pink” and “Make it Blue” robes!

Then we all went outside to take some pictures!  It only seemed right to have them do a silly pose! 🙂  It is a party after all!

Sleeping Beauty DVD BluRay Disk. Sleeping Beauty Slumber Party #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

Of course a Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party would not be right without the movie to watch!   The Diamond Edition Sleeping Beauty DVD from Disney has amazing quality.

Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition at Walmart with Bonus DVD #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

We snagged ours at Walmart as soon as it was released!  The Sleeping Beauty Diamond Edition Gift Set is exclusive to Walmart and it has a great Bonus DVD with it!  We couldn’t wait to show the new Sleeping Beauty DVD to their friends!   Now onto the FOOD we served!

Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party Cake! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

I am all about easy cake ideas!   I love how simple and elegant this cake is with the easy gold crown to represent Aurora’s crown.  The edge of the cake is a simple ruffle made with tip #127 in an up and down motion around the cake.  I made the crown using a large gold gift bag and cut it out to look like Aurora’s crown.  For the fairies I intended to have them hanging from the ceiling on fishing line above the cake, but had to photoshop these in instead because I wanted to make sure to include it as an idea!

Easy House Slipper Cookies made from Milano Cookies! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

These House Slipper Cookies were simple to make and I didn’t bake them at all!  I used a chocolate filled shortbread cookie and topped them with cookie icing then piped decorators icing to make the shoes more fluffy.  I then piped on a blue bow for a finishing touch!

Maleficent's Spinning Wheel Snack Mix for a Sleeping Beauty Party! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

Maleficent wasn’t invited, but you know her… she made her appearance anyway and brought some goodies too.  This snack mix is made with Apple Wheels, Cinnamon Kettlecorn and pink & blue chocolate candies.  It tasted great!

Marshmallow Nail Polish Bottles! A fun treat for a Sleeping Beauty Party! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

All the girls loved these Marshmallow Nail Polish Bottles!  I just used a pink marshmallow and a chocolate candy roll and stuffed it inside the marshmallow.  So easy and cute!

Night Mask Cookies for a Sleeping Beauty Slumber Party made from Nutter Butters! Su cute! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

The night mask cookies were a breeze to make too.  I used Peanut Butter store bought cookies and topped them with icing like I did with the House Slippers.

Princess Pudding Snacks for a Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

We also had pudding parfaits with two types of pudding.  Simple to make  using baby food jars and the girls loved them.

Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party Table Decor Idea... Doll Beds Painted Gold! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

On the table I used doll beds that were painted with gold spray paint!  I found the doll beds at Walmart and I had compliments on them all night.

American Greetings Princess Party Trinkets #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

We filled up cups with American Greetings Princess Party Favors (also found at Walmart) and placed them on the beds.  Each girl got their own cup to take home with them.

Sock Cupcakes! So cute for a Sleeping Beauty Slumber Party theme! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

Another favor I thought up was these cute Sock “Cupcakes”!  Perfect for the Sleeping Beauty Slumber Party theme and they matched the robes too!

Sleeping Beauty Princess Slumber Party Games! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

We had several fun games for the girls… all princess themed of course.  They all loved this Disney Princess Cupcake Party Game!  After all the fun and games were over we all settled down and watched Sleeping Beauty.  Around 1 o’ clock the last 2 girls to stay up were asleep!  Funny thing… my daughter informed me before the party that a Sleepover means that you sleep and a Slumber party means that you don’t sleep. LOL  She was the last up that night! 🙂

Breakfast Pastry Beds for a Sleeping Beauty Slumber Party! Make these for when they all wake up in the morning! #DisneyBeauties #CollectiveBias #shop

As your little Sleeping Beauties start to awake in the morning (Which you know they will bright and early) you can have these Breakfast Pastry Beds ready for them to eat!  My daughter came up with this idea and it couldn’t be any cuter!

I mean SERIOUSLY. Your party posts never cease to amaze me. I love every, single idea here. I’m SO glad your daughter explained the difference between sleep over and slumber party. Now I know which verbiage to use when Madilyn is old enough for a sleep over. Because there will be no slumber parties until college. 🙂 How do you come up with all of these great ideas? Will you come throw a party for me? PLEASE?!

I just loved your ideas for the princess party. I have been wracking my brain for months to try to come up with a party of that type for my granddaughter. She is autistic, non verbal, and only eats a few things. So needless to say I am having great difficulty coming up with ideas for a precious child who will be 16 but is very child like. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. She tends to like lights and sensory type toys. Thank you in advance for any ideas you might have.
