It’s always a blast when we get together with family and friends.  While we usually just get together in a casual setting… it’s fun to throw a party “just because” every once in a while.  We were all planning to get together recently and I thought I would make a quick and easy party to celebrate.  Rice Krispie Treats are always a BIG hit at any party and this Rice Krispies Treats Bar was such a fun way to serve them up to my guests!   We used the Rice Krispies Treats as a base for Rice Krispies Sandwiches.  I made sure to have plenty of toppings so that everyone could make their own Rice Krispies Treats sandwich.  It was fun seeing all the different Rice Krispies Treats Sandwiches that everyone came up with!  These Rice Krispies Treats Sandwiches also make a fun afternoon pick-me-up or fun snack outside of a party.

I used the pre-packaged Rice Krispie Treats to make things easier and they worked out great!  I just pressed them down a little after opening so that they were easier to fill with all the yummy toppings.

The toppings were simple: strawberries, whipped topping, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, peanut butter, M&M’s, Jet Puffed Marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles and sliced almonds.  My favorite was this Peanut Butter M&M Rice Krispies Treats® Sandwich!  You can also make these ahead using the melting chocolates if you aren’t planning a Rice Krispies treats bar.

Chocolate, Almond and Caramel was a favorite among the guests.  With a little whipped topping it was perfect!

Another fun Rice Krispies Treats Sandwich creation was this Chocolate Strawberry Cream Rice Krispies Treats Sandwich!

For the decor I wanted it to be simple.  I used flowers and glittered votives that I made using glitter, craft glue and a votive.  I also use a burlap runner with gold sequins for a little added pizzazz.

I displayed the Rice Krispies Treats on a stand that I made using Plastic Fluted Cups and Clear Plastic Plates!  I used some of the sequins to place inside the cups too which turned out so pretty!

For such simple decorations and a simple way to serve guests it really turned out to be an elegant party!
