Want something easy that you can do with your kids this Easter? These glitter dots eggs are super easy and super cute! They really are a great break from the traditional colored eggs (even though I love colored eggs). My girls and I had a great time making these!!!
I first found this idea from Pinterest (Glitter Dots on Eggs). My crafty friend Crystal also made some with fake eggs (Glitter Easter Eggs). I wanted to make mine with real eggs. So I followed Alton Brown’s advice and baked my eggs in the oven!!! This is the best way to make em! Then we proceeded to glitterize the eggs!
What you will need:
Elmer’s Craft Bond glue spots the “small thin” kind (this is in the scrap-booking section of Walmart)
Glitter- I used several different colors that I found in a pack at Walmart
Eggs- of course! I baked mine in the oven see this recipe: baked eggs
Just take the dots and stick them to the eggs. I really didn’t have a pattern in mind so they were all a little different. I just tried to keep the dots spaced out.
Then proceed to pour the glitter over the eggs. Don’t lay the eggs down anywhere before you add the glitter… the Egg will stick to the surface and you will break the egg…. NOT that I know that first hand . LOL
Now you have some beautiful Rainbow Glitter Dot Eggs!!!

These are awesome! And they look easy enough that my glitter loving special needs son could probably do them with a little help from Momma! Thanks for sharing!
