Welcome to Project Party Weekend! This is a little show and tell where we link up the different projects we have been working on. We welcome you to join the fun!!!
I have seen these cuffs made out of TP rolls on several different sites and I decided to come up with one on my own… So lovely!
What you will need:
1 toilet paper or paper towel roll
scissors
lace
feathers
hot glue
stringed pearls garland
fleece
ribbon
thread (sewing machine or hand stitch)
First cut the tube down the middle lengthwise and then cut a 1 1/2 inch strip off the end. (or however wide you want the cuff)
Cut a piece of fleece or other soft material to fit underneath.
Now glue the fleece with hot glue and trim up the edges.
Next take your ribbon and decide on how much you will need in order to make a bow with it once it is on your arm. Then stitch the ribbon down to the cuff. (use matching thread unlike me…lol… )
Now we will start gluing down the lace. Cut a little more than you would need to go across the cuff.
Glue down your first layer.
Next decide how much of the first layer you want to show and then glue down the second layer… repeat until your get to the top of the cuff.
You are now finished with the layers!
Now trim down any uneven sides.
I’ve added some string pearls.
And feathers.
and a flower… learn how to make it here
Enjoy your Lovely Lace Cuff!
Happy Creating!
I can’t wait to see what everyone else has come up with this week. Remember… it doesn’t have to be a “craft”– it can be a recipe or anything that you created or DIY that you want to share. 🙂 I will feature some of my favorites on Sunday evening. Be sure to grab this link and thanks for stopping by!
