Planter's Holiday Nut Party!

The holiday season is officially here!  I couldn’t believe my eyes when I realized that today was actually December.  The year has flown by so fast.  To celebrate the holidays I thought it would be nice to gather some friends and have a Planters Holiday Nut Party.  I love Planters Nuts and they always have the best holiday nut mixes.  I knew that they would be perfect for easy recipes to serve up!

Planter's Brittle Nut Medley

My favorite nut mix they have for the holidays is the Brittle Nut Medley!  There are actually little pieces of  peanut brittle mixed up with honey roasted peanuts, yogurt flavored raisins, pretzels and cashews!   I love peanut brittle and my mom always makes it for the holidays.  The Planters Brittle Nut Medley is a little reminder of home for me!  I used all the Planters Seasonal Holiday nuts set in small serving cups for my party spread and also added them to familiar recipes.

Mr. Peanut Selfie and Planter's Holiday Nuts

I find my Planters Holiday Nuts at Walmart.  They have many varieties to choose from including; Holiday Nut Crunch, Cocoa Almonds, Brittle Nut Medley , Winter Spiced Mix and Holiday Collection Tin.  A fun little thing you can do during your party or while shopping for the nuts at the store is take a Selfie with Mr. Peanut via the Blippar app!  We had a lot of fun with it and there were also recipes and product information there too!  I found the recipes helpful when planning out my party!

Brownies with Planter's Holiday Spice Nuts

For the party I decided to use the nuts with different recipes.  I made a batch of brownies then topped them with a little caramel, marshmallow topping and the Planters Winter Spiced Nuts!  It was so easy and these were a favorite at the party!

Caramel Popcorn Brittle Nut Mix

Another easy recipe was to take the Planters Brittle Nut Medley and mix in in with popcorn and drizzle with melted chocolate and caramel topping!   The sweet and salty combo was amazing!

Planter's Holiday Pretzel Mix

This Pretzel mix was so easy to make by using the Planters Holiday Nut Crunch with pretzels and drizzling it all with melted chocolate!

Cashew Chicken Lettuce Wraps

For a savory dish I made up Cashew Chicken lettuce wraps.   They were a nice addition to all the sweet treats and everyone just LOVED these!

Those cashew chicken lettuce wraps are right up my alley, I'd eat nuts in every dish if I could- I am in love with all these great suggestions. It's wonderful how easy Planters makes it to entertain! #client
