Growing up there were many “mothers” in my life that helped shape me into the woman I am today. Of course my own mother and grandmother were the most pivotal, but I had many other close women that helped raise me. I decided it would be fun to get together with my mom, my other “moms”, and my sisters to celebrate an early Mother’s Day. I decided that it would be a pedi themed party cause all these ladies deserve a little pampering. I put together flower pots stuffed with different pedicure items for each of the ladies. I also bought 2 Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot Files; one to give away and one for everyone to try out. I made sure to buy extra rollers so each of my guests had one of their own and also had the Amopé™ Foot Cream for everyone to try also.
I wanted to include the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File because I have used this product on my rough dry feet. I love it because it buffs away hard skin with gentle rotating action and my feet are so much smoother now. Everyone that came was really excited to try the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File. Everyone that was there tried it out and loved it! Everyone noticed right away how gentle the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File was and how smooth their skin was after they used it. We also all applied the Amopé™ Foot Cream after using the foot file which made our feet feel amazing!
We had lots of light snacks like chicken salad sandwiches with fruits and veggies. I also made a basket of cupcake flowers which turned out beautiful! You can see the full tutorial on how to make a Cupcake Bouquet Basket here.
The flower pots filled with the pedi products were such a big hit! To make each flower pot I first took a pair of flip flops and put them inside the pot. Then I took tissue paper around the flip flops for the other items to sit on. I then added cotton balls, a sample pot of lotion, toe nail clippers, nail polish remover, nail polish and one Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ roller per pot. I applied glitter fabric paint to the outside of the pot with a round foam brush to look like dots. Then I added a striped bow with hot glue. Lastly I used some tissue paper to make a small flower to place in each pot.
To make your own flowers you can use 4 sheets of tissue paper cut into 7 inches by 20 inches and fold them up into a fan shape. Wrap a small piece of pipe cleaner around the folded paper right in the middle to secure. Cut the ends into a rounded shape and fan out the tissue paper on each side of the pipe cleaner. Carefully pull each piece of tissue paper up towards the middle and you will see the flower start to form. When each piece of tissue paper is pulled up your flower is finished. Add a skewer for the stem and place it into the pot.
At the end of the party I had each lady draw a number, and I randomly picked a number for the winner of the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File. It ended up being my godmother that won, and she was so excited.
We had such a great time getting pampered and being together for this Mother’s Day celebration. We were all pleased by how well the Amopé™ Pedi Perfect™ Electronic Foot File and Amopé™ Foot Cream worked to gently smooth our feet. It was an easy way to pamper the “moms” in my life! How are you going to pamper yours?
