Something that I have wanted to do for a long time with my girls is have them help me with a baby shower for young pregnant girls in need.  Our local pregnancy crisis center is always in need of baby items and I thought this would be a fun way for them to get involved!  We thought it would be fun to make it a Disney Baby party with lots of fun Disney Baby Mickey Mouse items!  We were so excited with how the shower turned out.

I wanted most of the money spent on the shower to go towards items these moms could use so I made the decor out of the Disney Baby items!  This banner turned out so cute with the Disney Baby onesies and Disney Baby receiving blankets on a string with clothespins.  For the table I used the Disney Baby Mickey Mouse bedding bumper as a backdrop!

Of course we wanted to serve our guests a bit of cake so I made this cute Mickey Mouse cake!  I just iced a double layer 8 inch cake with white buttercream.  Then I took baby blue gum balls and placed them around the bottom of the cake.  Next I made Mickey Mouse heads from chocolate sandwich cookies that I took apart and also miniature sandwich cookies that I took apart and cut off the ends to make the ears.  At the top I piped swirls with a 1M tip and placed 1 gum-ball into each one!  It turned out super cute!

I used the Disney Baby Mickey Mouse blanket as a table runner.  I think this bedding is so cute!  I really hope that the new mom that gets this loves it too!  I know that a lot of times they don’t get brand new items and so this should be really special.

Of course you can’t forget bibs and a potty chair!  Essentials at any baby shower!

This diaper bag we found was a favorite of my daughter’s.  She had a hard time letting it go because she said our little one needed it!  She changed her mind after I reminded her that he already has a diaper bag, but I admit this one is super cute!  I may go back to get another one when his wears out! 😉

My favorite Disney Baby item was this cute blanket and plush toy of Mickey Mouse!  I know the little one that receives this is going to love it!   This whole shower was so much fun to throw and I can’t wait to do something like it again.  It taught my girls a lot about giving to those in need too.  This Disney Baby shower was a hit with everyone that came… it would be perfect for any Disney and Mickey Mouse lover that is expecting!

I found everything I needed for this party at Walmart!  I love their selection of Disney Baby items!  What Disney Baby character shower do you want to throw?
