Individual Reveal Pinatas for a Gender Reveal Party

Individual Reveal Pinatas! So much fun at a gender reveal party!!!

This week I am sharing all about our Gender Reveal Party!  The last thing we did was pull these individual pinatas which would reveal what the baby’s gender is!  With 3 girls in the house and no boys… everyone was excited to see if we would have another girl or if we were actually having a boy.  We all gathered around my birthday tree which sits in my parents yard.  I had prepared 4 Pinatas which were strung to a sturdy branch on the tree.  My three girls and one of my nephews got to pull the strings!  I thought this was a great way to include the kids in the fun!

So with out any further ado:

We couldn’t believe it!!!!  We are so excited to welcome a baby boy in March!  We can’t wait!!!

To make your own Pinatas you will need:

Chinese Take out boxes

Confetti (I made some out of tissue paper)

thin wire

curling ribbon

clear tape

Step 1: Rewire the take out box to be upside down.  Just take out the wire that is already inside and place new wire in it’s place.

Step 2: Tape the wire well into the inside.

Step 3: Tape a long string to each flap from the inside of the box.

Step 4: Tape the top down.  Make sure to tape well, but not so well that it won’t burst easily.  Now it’s ready to tie to a tree!

Come back later to see our party decor!

I found your version of a girl Elf on Pinterest and just had to take a peek at the rest of your blog. Congratulations on your baby boy! Our daughter is having our first grandchild in March also, and we were so thrilled to find out it's a girl :) Thanks for the Elf idea!

Oh so happy for you!! Very nice that the kids took part in this! You seem like a great mom, so girl or boy , what a lucky baby! Boys have such a different personality than girls and you will enjoy seeing this in new baby boy. Congratulations! Names???
