Football is hands down my favorite sport to watch. It’s one of those games that is easy for everyone to follow and is full of action-packed excitement. Many memories have been made around watching our favorite teams battle it out, and that’s why I love hosting football watch parties.

I am also including free printable decor and game ideas that couldn’t be simpler.

Football Party Appetizers

My favorite part of hosting a football party is coming up with all the yummy food ideas. People will come to a game day celebration ready to eat, so I like to be prepared with plenty of food options. Since I make a whole lot of food on game days, I keep the menu simple.

Walmart appetizers

That’s where my first tip comes in: go to Walmart for all your party supplies. Buying everything from Walmart keeps me in check with my party planning. I love that they have a large selection of easy-to-prepare appetizers, like Tyson® Any’tizers® Buffalo Boneless Bites, Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips, State Fair® Classic Mini Corn Dogs, Hillshire Farm® Beef Lit’l Smokies® smoked sausage, and Takis® Rolled Corn Chips.

Just pop these easy appetizers in the oven, and they are ready to serve after a few minutes of baking.

Mini Corn dogs on football platter

These State Fair® Classic Mini Corn Dogs are always a big hit with the adults and kids alike. I make sure to have some ketchup and mustard, too, for those that like a little sauce. I collect football themed bowls and platters which I like to use, but use whatever you have on hand! With the free printable decorations, it’s easy to make a a fun football party set up without having to buy a lot of extras!

Every football party at our house is incomplete without some buffalo hot wings-inspired foods. I especially love Tyson® Any’tizers® Buffalo Boneless Bites for their great taste and the ease to make them. Pair them with some Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips for those that don’t like spicy foods and add in some dipping sauces, too!

printable football picksOne of my favorite tips for football parties is to have plenty of dipping sauces, like ranch or bleu cheese dressings. Use toothpicks or other serving picks so that your guests can easily dip their appetizers into whatever sauces they want. Have some picks handy next to each platter and decorate them with the printable decorations.

Easy and so cute for any football party! This could also be used for other sports if you take off the footballs at the end.

Free printable football bingo cards

Another tip that will please everyone is having fun games to play!

How about some football bingo? These are fun for anyone, even if you don’t know a lot about football. It’s great for kids, too, with the colorful icons which make filling in your card easy to do. Have a simple prize ready and see how competitive your guests will become! We love playing this football bingo for every game day celebration. Get your free printable football bingo cards here.

There are 6 different BINGO cards to print out. To use, just get some bingo daubers, pens, candies or even flat rocks to use as markers.

Free Printable football picks

The next tip I have is to use these printable party pick decorations. First, print them out and then cut around the edges. Grab your toothpicks or party picks and tape them onto the tops. These are super easy and they really add that extra pizzaz to a football watch party table. The great part is that the only cost is in the cost of paper! That leaves me some room in the food budget for more appetizers.

I like to take some of the picks and put them into the food ahead of time for decorations. I loved how they looked with this bowl of Hillshire Farm® Beef Lit’l Smokies® smoked sausage! The Hillshire Farm® Beef Lit’l Smokies® smoked sausages make an appearance at nearly every party we have, and I love to cook them in barbecue sauce. They are the best!

Football Watch party

Once the party has started, the rest is just eating, watching the game, and enjoying the company! I’m big on letting everyone make their own plates, so we set up the table buffet style at our house. All of these party foods are easy to grab and go, so there is more time spent watching the game!
