I decided at the beginning of the year that we would make a better effort to eat healthier this year than last. That means that I have cut back on sugary things that I make for my family. Consequently my kids have asked me nearly everyday when I am going to make brownies because that is their favorite treat! I finally caved in last night and made a batch for them. At the same time I made an alternative dessert for myself using the new Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt! I froze the yogurt into little heart shapes and made Frozen Yogurt Valentine Bon Bons! They were an awesome snack to have on hand and I didn’t even want a brownie!
The Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt comes in three delicious flavors: Raspberry, Mint and Vanilla Bean! I am a big ice cream fan and these flavors are right up my alley! I like to keep a few of them in the refrigerator at all times for when I need a “me moment”. It’s my time to just sit back and relax and have a moment to myself and enjoy a small snack. They are also great to have on hand as on the go snacks and breakfast options (why not enjoy dessert first?). They are the perfect indulgent treat with a balance of taste and nutrition.
I found my Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt at Walmart the other day and they were nearly out, but a stocker just happened to be right behind me with more to restock. I guess I timed my shopping trip at the right time!!! 🙂 If you want to try these for yourself then be sure to head out to Walmart Feb. 5th- 8th for a Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt Demo!
I was excited to get to try all of the flavors for these truffles. I piped the yogurt into the heart mold and placed it in the freezer to freeze for a couple of hours. Once they were frozen I drizzled on some melted chocolate and sprinkles! I placed the finished bon bons into a plastic bag and now I have these little frozen yogurt bon bons to snack on when I need a little “me moment”!
I found it funny that my kids ended up loving these Frozen Yogurt Valentine Bon Bons as much as they did their brownies. Of course! 🙂
Have you tried the Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurts? If so… which flavor is your favorite?

I tried this and loved it! However, the yogurt melts and the molds no longer stay in shape. I left a few out overnight and they're gummed up, but that can't be good for yogurt...
