Pizza and football go hand in hand at our home and it’s finally football season again! I love watching a good football game and I think I love the planning around it even more. It’s the perfect excuse to invite friends and family over for a fun time together. These Easy Football Party Ideas are fun to make and easy to put up and take down afterwards. I’ve also included several printables too! All you need is some paper, printer, glue and a Freschetta® pizza or two for this easy party!
I find my Freschetta® pizzas at Walmart in the frozen foods. They really are great pizzas and cook up wonderfully in the oven! They have several varieties to choose from too. I also noticed that there is a Tailgate at Your Place Sweepstakes to enter also. My family wanted to try the Freschetta® Brick Oven Crust pizza with the 3 meat medley and the Freschetta® Naturally Rising Crust pizza with the Sicilian Pepperoni. We loved them both and I especially loved the sauce they use… yum! It’s just the right amount of sweet and tangy tomato.
I thought it would be fun to have a football stadium background for our party set up this time. I just took some white bulletin board paper and painted dots on it with a paint dabber. Then I took some silver wrapping paper and cut it out the length of the paper to make the stands and lights. Then I taped those onto the paper. For the lights we also used glue and gold glitter to make the outline of the lights inside the outer light box. This was all it took to make the background and I just taped it onto the wall.
I also made prints of fun football themed decorations. I taped these pennant flags onto a cake stand for a football themed dessert stand! I placed a yummy Edwards Cookies and Cream pie on top of it for an easy dessert idea with a goal made from large straws.
I also made and printed off these cute footballs and team signs and taped them onto some party picks. They really looked great in the bite sized pieces of Freschetta® pizza and the Pagoda Crab Rangoon appetizers! Get the FREE Printables below by clicking on the pic or the link underneath.
It all turned out so fun! We had pizza, pie and some yummy crab rangoon snacks to go along with our football watching! Do you like to throw parties during football season? What are some fun ideas you have to decorate for the festivities?
