Artichoke & Asiago French Bread Pizza

Thank you to Bertolli® for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to celebrate. Viva Bertolli!

Homemade meals don’t have to be fussy.  There are times I get inspiration to make something totally from scratch, but being a mom of many I have learned that I rarely have that kind of time anymore.  For this season I am trying out ways to spend a little less time in the kitchen and more time celebrating the family I have.  I used to love making pizza dough from scratch and even the sauce to go on top would be from scratch too.  Not that I don’t love to do those things anymore, but there are shortcuts I’ve found to produce great results in half of the time.  This Easy Artichoke & Asiago French Bread Pizza is one of those recipes that we will keep going back to for the great taste and ease to make.  I first thought of the idea when I was taste testing the Bertolli® Riserva Asiago Cheese & Artichokes sauce.  The wonderful complex taste of the cheese and artichokes really makes this sauce a treat.  I knew that it would be great on top of a loaf of french bread topped with a mix of Italian spices and cheese.  Boy was I right.  The Bertolli® Riserva sauce really worked to transform this store bought loaf of french bread into a delicious pizza that tastes as great as my “from scratch” creations.

We really love how this turned out and it makes a lot of pizza for all of us thanks to the bread and sauce.  It also only takes around 15 minutes to bake!
