Sometimes you just need a good excuse to get together with your friends and family. Basketball game watch parties are a way that my family likes to get together and have some fun! We typically root for any team in our home state (unless they aren’t playing), but all that really matters is the fun and food! I have some easy ideas for recipes and crafts that I made just in time for all the March basketball games. These Cheddar Ranch Cheese Bites are made with Cheez-It Grooves as the crust and they are scrumptious! I also have an easy tutorial for basketball net cups that will be perfect for any basketball party!
Recently I found new flavors of Cheez-It cracker snacks that I like to include in our game day spread. The Cheez-It Crunch’d is a crunchy puff made with 100% real cheese. I also included the Cheez-It Grooves which are thin and crispy like a chip and have a great cheesy taste!
I found my Cheez-It snacks at Walmart near the other snack crackers. I am really impressed with the quality of the Cheez-It snacks and my whole family loves them!
I knew the Cheez-It Grooves would taste great as a coating on Mozzarella Cheese to make a baked cheese stick. This recipe is so good and it’s much healthier because these are baked! I know I will be making these often.
Cheddar Ranch Cheese Bites
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Egg Whites or 2 Eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup ground Cheddar Ranch Cheez-It Grooves
- 6 Cheddar or Mozzarella Sticks that are each cut into 4 equal peices
Instructions
- Coat the Mozzarella Sticks with the Egg Whites and then Coat them with the ground Cheez-It Grooves. Repeat this process one more time to get a thicker coating. Place each cheese bite onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze the cheese bites on the parchment until they are fully frozen (about 1 hour). Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake the frozen cheese bites for around 7-10 minutes or until the cheese is just melted but not losing its form. Serve with ranch or marinara sauce for dipping.

Homemade Pita Bread I love pita bread, but I never buy it because I can never find a brand that I like. And, I very ralrey make bread at home, but these look so fluffy and delicious that I might just have to whip up a batch! If you're following nourishing traditions principles, make sure you soak your flour to help with digestion.
