I used Sweet’N Low® to make this Candy Corn Lemonade as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #donthesitaste
Halloween is right around the corner and you have probably already started decorating your porch for the arrival of the kids that will come around trick or treating. One of the favorite treats among my family is candy corn and I will admit to buying a big bag of it when it first came out on sale last month! Luckily it’s not a candy that we eat all the time. In fact, the bag is still mostly full! This Candy Corn Lemonade doesn’t have any candy corn in it, but the colors are inspired by it. I think it turned out super cute!
I wanted to lower the sugar content of the lemonade and so I use Sweet N’ Low sweetener in this drink. Sweet N’ Low is a zero calorie sweetener that helps to reduce calories in drinks. I love that the only sugar calories in this lemonade are coming from fruit! Sweet N’ Low is great for diabetics and anyone wanting to reduce calories. My husband and I loved how this lemonade tasted too!
Candy Corn Lemonade
- 5 Sweet N' Low packets
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 clementine or mandarin orange chopped into small peices
- ice crushed is best
- yellow food coloring
- First mix the lemon juice, Sweet N' Low, water and a drop of yellow food coloring in a small glass. Put the chopped clementines in the bottom of a jar or glass and then add ice on top until it reaches the top. Add the lemonade mixture to that. Enjoy!
