Candy Clementines! A fun new spin on candy apples!!

Why should apples get all the fun?  Candy Clementines are sooooo good!  I used to think that a clementine was just a song.  My parents used to sing “Oh My Darling Clementine'” to me as a baby and supposedly it was the ONLY thing that would calm me down.   Anyways, when I discovered that a clementine was actually a fruit I was excited to try them.  Now clementines are one of my favorite fruits!  Sometimes I like to dip my clementines in chocolate and that is where this idea was born.  Candy Clementines are such a fun and easy way to enjoy the taste of chocolate and orange together!

Of course we had to be festive with the Halloween sprinkles too!  Some of the clementines I dipped halfway and others I dipped the whole clementine.  The clementines that were completely dipped stayed on the sticks better though.

I learned that if you put a little chocolate on the end of your stick before inserting it into the clementine it also stays together better.  Or just forego the stick and peel them instead… it’s up to you!

White chocolate also tastes amazing with these… I love the possibilities!!!
