Are you a morning person? My husband is a total morning person! He rarely sleeps in even if he’s gone to bed late. He recently had a birthday and I wanted to do something special for him with our family. Since he loves the morning and breakfast type foods I threw him a Breakfast Party! I figured it was okay to be a morning person for the day in the name of love! 🙂 I kept the party simple with easy breakfast ideas and easy party decor ideas.
I first shopped for all my party supplies and Breakfast party foods at Walmart. I found a great selection of Pepperidge Farm Sweet Rolls and thought up some ways I could use them for the recipes! I ended up getting Pepperidge Farm Sweet Rolls in Pecan Caramel, Chocolate Chip and Cherry flavors! I like to keep birthdays as affordable as possible and I love using plastic tablecloths and paper goods for decorating! I also found some neat doilies in different sizes that I thought would be nice around the plates. I used the rectangle plastic orange tablecloth folded up as a table runner and placed some doilies on top of it. The other table decor was a canvas painted with chalkboard paint and I wrote in “Good Morning, Sunshine” with a large chalk marker. Next I used yellow plates of different sizes and orange cups to make a quick stand to place the waffles on.
I also made a hanging “sun-catcher” background using the yellow paper plates and doilies. I glued them together then hung them with fishing line from the ceiling with painters tape. It was such a fun and whimsical background!
These Sweet Roll waffles are now my favorite way to make waffles. They are amazing and remind me of a funnel cake. The Pepperidge Farm Pecan Caramel Sweet Rolls were perfect for this recipe and I loved the real pecans that came with the rolls! Just place the rolls onto the waffle plate and cook like you would a regular waffle, but you might need to decrease the time. I have a hot waffle iron and it only took 45 seconds and they were done. Once they are finished you can top them with the toppings included in the package or put your own toppings on!
I think fruit is ideal for a breakfast party. These layered fruit cups are so pretty with the red, orange and yellow colors! I used strawberries, mandarin oranges and pineapples cut up and served in a mini parfait glass.

I wasn’t sure how this Cherry Sweet Roll Bundt Cake would turn out, but it was AMAZING! The flavor was great and the prep was simply placing the Pepperidge Farm Cherry Sweet Rolls in the Bundt pan.
I also bought some Pepperidge Farm Sweet Rolls in the Chocolate Chip flavor and they were so good with an orange slice on top! Delicious!
These Ham, Egg and Cheese Mini Biscuits were made using Pepperidge Farm Garlic and Cheese Biscuits that I cut into 4 sections before baking. Then I made some scrambled eggs with ham and cheese and place them in the cooked biscuits. Last I placed a sliced grape tomato inside and stuck a toothpick through the biscuit to hold it all together. These were a favorite!

Of course no breakfast party would be complete without 100% Florida Orange Juice! I made some Sunshine Chillers using frozen strawberries, a little sugar and 100% Florida Orange Juice. It was a refreshing drink and we all loved the tangy flavor! It was a nice way to finish off all the party foods. This party was definitely a success and SO easy to put together. The best part was that my husband thoroughly loved everything about his Breakfast Party and it was a fun way to celebrate another year to come!
