We always go all out for first birthdays in our family.  First birthdays are such an important milestone and we love to make it a special day.  Our baby boy is only 2 months away from being 1 year old and I am already prepping for an epic birthday bash.  I made this Sprinkle Cake with Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies and I think it makes the perfect birthday cake for a birthday party.  It’s small size is perfect as a smash cake or an individual cake for a birthday party.

The Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies are the perfect candy to adorn the cake!  The new Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies pack the taste of birthday cake into just one bite and complete with a satisfying crunch are perfect for any birthday theme.  birthday-colored-kissesI am also loving the Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates in brightly wrapped foils to fit a variety of birthday themes and help make the day that much sweeter.  undefined

I was provided with every color and I think they look perfect in a candy dish for a colorful display.  You can easily find all of the Hershey products at Walmart in the Celebrations aisle.  Birthday parties with Hersheys makes matching colors with themes easy!  birthday-sprinkle-cake

Sprinkle Birthday Cake with Hershey's Kisses

Make a cute birthday cake that is covered in sprinkles and topped with Hershey's Kisses sprinkles decorations!
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Keyword: Sprinkle Birthday Cake
Author: Rachel

Ingredients

  • 1 bag bag Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies
  • 1 box cake mix with ingredients to make the cake
  • 1 batch Decorators Icing or Buttercream Icing
  • 1 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  • Bake 2 cakes in 2 4 inch pans using the cake mix according to directions. Wait until cool to ice the cakes. To place sprinkles on the cake use one hand filled with sprinkles and press the sprinkles on the sides and top of the cake. Once the whole cake has sprinkles use some more icing to decorate with swirls on top. I used a 1m icing tip in a piping bag to make these. Place a Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candy with or without wrapper on top of each swirl. Enjoy your cake!
