This year has been a whirlwind of moving, sickness and just being busy. I am always looking for ways that I can plan something special to do with my 3 girls. My little ladies LOVE Tinker Bell movies. I was looking online one night and noticed that Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast was coming out on DVD and knew we had to plan a Tinker Bell party.
We waited patiently and on March 3rd the DVD was released and we picked up the exclusive gift set at Walmart. We watched it right away as soon as we got home. There was laughter and tears. It was an excellent movie and one that my girls have already asked to see every day since we bought it!
The Tinker Bell Log Cake was the favorite treat for sure! It’s just a swiss roll cake which is so easy to make. I used a cake mix and baked it on a sheet pan covered in parchment paper. Then I used whipped cream in the middle and rolled it up. I iced the outside of the cake with chocolate icing and then took a toothpick and made lines to look like bark. The rest was just decorating with Tinker Bell figurines and edible flowers. I also used mint leaves and marshmallow mushrooms which is in my tutorial below.
Next up my daughter helped me cut up pineapples, raspberries and kiwis to make these cute flowers!
These Cheese and Tomato Toadstools really added a fun element to the Woodland Garden theme! They turned out super cute. Just cut cheese and tomatoes then dot them with sour cream.
We also had Rosetta’s Strawberry Roses. For these I just cut slits in the sides of the strawberries going all the way to the top. Then I cut out just the center tip of the strawberry and they look like roses! I placed them on a plate covered with mint leaves.
My girls were crazy about this Fairy Snack Mix. Watch the video below for the full tutorial!
These DIY flower lights are super easy to make using flower shaped cupcake liners that I found at Walmart. I just used mini lights and poked them through the paper. They were so pretty on the table!
I couldn’t pass the chance to dress my girls in Tinker Bell flip flops! Just glue the big pom poms on the flip flops using a strong craft glue. So easy and they really look like they belong to Tinker Bell!
We always tell my 4 year old daughter that she looks like Tinker Bell. She has these really cool pointy ears and blonde hair so she lights up when we tell her that! I bought her this really cute Tinker Bell costume at Walmart and we also bought the Tinker Bell Light Up Sky High Tink for them to play with.
My little Tinker Bell had fun blowing her Pixie Dust! These necklaces were made from a charm I found at the craft store and I filled them with glitter and strung them on a ball chain necklace. Easy and perfect for a Tinker Bell Party!
The fave of my older girls were these Pom Pom rings! They matched perfectly with the Tinker Bell flip flops!
It was such a fun party and a great way to welcome the spring coming soon. I think it’s safe to say that my girls loved Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast. You can grab your copy of it today at Walmart!
