In September I started saving cans. I wasn’t sure what I would do with them, but after seeing a few craft blogs with cans used for crayons I decided to give it a try. Then I thought “why stop at crayons?”. I made a whole “coloring” organizer!
Palette of Colors
What you will need:
tin cans of various sizes- atleast six for the crayons
ModPodge
Scrapbook paper
acrylic paints of various colors
flowers and bows if you want it girly!
a mdf board… mine was a 12X12
E600 glue
As you can see I just painted the insides of the cans… the ones in the back will separte the crayon colors and the ones in the front are for markers, pens/ pencils and coloring pencils. The tuna cans will be use for odds and ends. I also ModPodged some scrapbook paper onto the outsides of the cans. Then I just glued it down with the E-600 to my mdf board that was covered with scrapbook paper.
I then added a bow and glued down some flowers! So Easy!!! Now my girls love keeping all the colors in their separate tins.
Happy Creating!!!
