One. More. Day… and then we get to see the new Disney Beauty and the Beast Live Action film. Eek! I can not wait!!! That was said with all the fan girl fandom one could have because Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies ever. I have not been to Disney World recently, but it doesn’t take a long internet search to find out about the Be Our Guest restaurant in the Magic Kingdom. It’s on my bucket list of places to go for sure. One of the things I’ve always wanted to try there is “The Grey Stuff”! Of course it’s delicious (wink) and the way people describe it is like a cookies and cream mousse.
The Grey Stuff Mousse in Teacups is positively delicious and I am sure it tastes very similar to the Disney version. It’s a dreamy dessert with a light whipped cream and cookies taste. We love it and I am sure our guests will too!
This version only takes a few ingredients to make! I’ve added gelatin to the mixture to make sure it keeps it’s form for more than a few minutes.
The little teacups were just perfect for this dessert! I love that they are so small because the dessert itself is very rich. They are actually tea-light holders that I found at Party City. I was provided these teacups for a review only and they were absolutely perfect! (All opinions are mine).
The Grey Stuff Mousse in Teacups will delight your guests with whimsy and fun! Perfect for a Beauty and the Beast Party!
"The Grey Stuff" Mousse Teacups

Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 5 chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos), grind in food processor or in blender
- 1/2 Tbsp Gelatin
- 2 Tbsp water
Instructions
- Mix the water and gelatin in a large microwave safe bowl. You will want this bowl to be large because the gelatin will foam up in the microwave. Microwave on high for about 10 seconds or until all the gelatin is dissolved. Let the gelatin cool off to a lukewarm temp before adding it to the cream, but don't let it get cold because it will become a gel. Meanwhile start your heavy cream whipping with an electric mixer whip the heavy cream, sugar and vanilla on high or until starting to get soft peaks. Add the gelatin to the whipped cream slowly and beat on high until the whipped cream forms stiff peaks. Add ground chocolate sandwich cookies and whip slowly until combined. The mixture will darken over time so don't worry too much about the color.
