It’s no secret that I love coffee and I prefer my coffee with lots of flavor, sweetness and cream! This is especially true around the holidays. There is just something about the wonderful scents of pumpkin, cinnamon and of course peppermint that make these holiday treats so special. I recently caught myself venturing to the local coffeehouse a little too often if you know what I mean. I knew that I needed to recreate once of my favorites at home and that’s where this recipe for Skinny Peppermint Mocha Cappuccino was born. I love it just as much as the coffeehouse version and it costs so much less!
I made this with Sweet’N Low sweetener which gave it just enough sweetness. I like it because Sweet ‘N low is a zero calorie sweetener which helps reduce calories in drink recipes. Sweet’N Low is diabetic friendly and has the sweetness I love without the extra calories! I certainly don’t need the extra calories over the holidays for sure!
When I use Sweet’N Low with my coffee drinks I always add it to the cup before I pour the coffee. For this recipe I used 3 packets of Sweet’N Low sweetener.
If you don’t have an espresso maker then you can use some really concentrated coffee mixed with some frothed milk for the same effect.
Skinny Peppermint Mocha Cappuccino

Ingredients
- 3 packets Sweet'N Low sweetener
- 4 oz . strong coffee or 2 shots espresso
- 1 cup frothed and steamed milk
- 1 small peppermint stick broken
- 1/2 Tbsp . cocoa powder
Instructions
- Add the cocoa powder and Sweet'N Low sweetener to a mug. Add coffee and milk. Top with peppermint stick. Garnish with another peppermint stick if desired. Enjoy!
