Pumpkin Spice Syrup is a a must have if you want to make the best pumpkin spice lattes.

This delectable syrup will instantly remind you of Fall and put you in an Autumn state of mind… no matter what the temps are outside.  Just 3 ingredients is all it takes to make this delicious syrup that you can use in all your pumpkin spice drinks!

So I have to admit that I gave in… to a yummy Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks the other day.  It was SO hot outside, but something in me screamed, “I need this!!!”  I ended up getting it iced, but it was still SO good!  I knew that I needed to make an at home version so that I could drink them all season long.  All the recipes online looked a little too involved for me.  I ended up making up my own version with 3 simple ingredients that you can quickly grab at the grocery store.

Pumpkin Pie Spice, Pumpkin Puree and Vanilla Syrup (the kind meant for coffee like Torani).   It really is that simple.  I like to brew my coffee really strong like an espresso and add milk, cream and the pumpkin spice syrup.  It makes a great Pumpkin Spice Latte!  I recently bought an espresso machine that works even better, but it’s not necessary to have one.  Really strong brewed coffee or french press coffee works really well.

When I am not making latte’s with coffee I make them with Chai Tea.  Much less caffeine, but even more flavor.  I love the Bigelow Vanilla Chai Tea… it’s nutty and rich.  So good!

I just mix in a Tbsp. or so of the Pumpkin Spice Syrup with the Tea and a little heavy cream or half and half.   Top with a little whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.  Yum!   I am ready for FALL!!!

Pumpkin Spice Syrup {3 Ingredients}

Pumpkin Spice Syrup is super easy to make on your own with just 3 ingredients.  Use it for all your Pumpkin Spice drinks!

  • 2 Tbsp . Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 1/2 tsp . Pumpkin Spice
  • 1 12 oz . bottle of Vanilla Syrup like Torani


  • Mix all ingredients in medium sized bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until hot but not boiling. Mix again and set aside until cool. Once cool strain the mixture with a mesh strainer and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
