We have been potty training for a few months now, but my little one has started to revert a little. I think it mainly has to do with him having a baby brother and not wanting to switch to using the potty full time! That’s okay, though. I’m in no rush to have him use the potty exclusively until he’s absolutely ready. He still uses the potty when he wants and so I’m going to keep him in Huggies® Pull-Ups®. They really have helped us with this new transition into potty training and he loves wearing the Pull-Ups Boys’ Learning Designs Training Pants. It makes him feel more like a big boy and he loves letting everyone know that he can use the potty! I decided to make a fun potty training game for him and had him help pick out the Pull-Ups Boys’ Learning Designs Training Pants and Huggies One & Done Refreshing Baby Wipes while we were at Walmart Neighborhood Market.
He was so excited when he saw that Finding Dory was on the Huggies One & Done Refreshing Baby Wipes! He was even more excited to see the Cars on the Pull-Ups Boys’ Learning Designs Training Pants. I think it’s great that they have the Disney characters on the training pants! We found everything we needed at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at the same great prices as Walmart Supercenter!
He insisted that he could get the Huggies One & Done Refreshing Baby Wipes into the cart by himself and he did! I can’t believe how quickly he is growing. Our “shopping” trip was not over once we got home though…
I decided that it would be a lot of fun to have a shopping game that would help him when he needs to use the potty. My little one gets really excited when he can be independent and so I let him “shop” for the Pull-Ups Boys’ Learning Designs Training Pants and Huggies One & Done Refreshing Baby Wipes in his room. We just happen to have a little shopping cart at home, but you can use any basket for a shopping cart too. Once he had all the items he needed in his cart we headed to the bathroom.
Once we were in the bathroom he used the potty and then put on a new pair of Pull-Ups Boys’ Learning Designs Training Pants. He had a lot of fun “shopping” for the items he needed to use! Sometimes it’s hard for him to go to the potty right away when he needs to and that’s when most of his accidents happen, but if using the potty is fun I know that he’ll a lot less accidents. What are some ways that you teach your little one to use the potty?
