We just got back from a weekend spent with my parents and I although I am glad to be back home… I always hate saying goodbye.  We try to see them as much as we can, but being 2 hours away we only get to see them about once a month.  I always enjoy our times together and I know the kids love to be at grandmas and grandpas house.  One of the things my mom likes to do while we are there is to prepare us breakfast everyday.  One of her favorites to serve us is Honey Nut Cheerios™ with milk.  (You can check out the recipe for No Bake Honey Nut Chocolate Clusters at the end of this post.)Honey Nut Cheerios a memoryHoney Nut Cheerios™ has always been her favorite cereal and she passed down that love for them to her daughters and grandchildren.

Before she serves breakfast everyday she always gets the kids up herself.  Sometimes she will sing silly songs and it reminds me of the way she would wake my sisters and I up when we were little.  The kids love to be at grandmas house and I love that my kids and I get to spend time together.

Girl Eating Honey Nut Cheerios It’s the simple moments like these that I want to remember forever.  Those are the things that mean the most to me and I know it means so much to my children also.

Honey Nut Cheerios

I buy Cheerios™ for my kids at Walmart and we always buy the family sized boxes.  I noticed that there was a Give a Box offer on my latest box of Honey Nut Cheerios™ and I thought it would be perfect to give a box to my mom for Mother’s Day this year!  I know that she loves them and I know that she will love the gesture.

If you want to give a box of Cheerios™ to someone that you love be sure to purchase your box at Walmart, scan the QR code and fill out an E-card online for a friend to open and redeem a week later at their local Walmart for a free box of Cheerios™.  These boxes are specifically/exclusively sold at Walmart!

What a fun memory of how your mom used to wake you up for breakfast! I love that you are sharing a box of Cheerios™ with your mom and this delicious recipe for Mother's Day this year! It's those little things that mean so much. Growing up, my Dad was always the one to wake us and we generally enjoyed Honey Nut Cheerios™ on weekdays. I still love that cereal to this day! #client
