Infant seats are something that I have had for all my kids because it helps to soothe them while I get things done around the house.
The mamaRoo infant seat is one of my favorite infant seats out of all the ones we have tried through the years. Read my review below.
Thank you to 4moms for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try the mamaRoo infant seat! So much has changed in the last 11 years that I have been privileged to be called mom.
We have tested and tried about every kind of baby infant swing, bouncer and infant seat there is. I remember seeing this infant seat when I was pregnant and thinking how cool they were. We finally have the chance to try it out with our fifth child and I am very impressed so far. The main thing that impresses me about it is that my baby loves it! Infant seats are something that I have had for all my kids because it helps to soothe them while I get things done around the house. Believe me, this is not his sad face… LOL! I was trying to get him to smile at me here, but he was too relaxed! We tried a baby swing and bouncer with him prior to the mamaRoo infant seat, but he always wanted out instantly. This infant seat’s gentle motions are perfect for him.
I love holding my babies every chance that I get, but it’s nice to be able to sit them in an infant seat when I am needing to get a chore finished.
This is why an infant seat (that he likes) is a must have for me. The mamaRoo is available in two fabric options: the plush seat fabrics (multi, designer, and silver) have a soft, velvety surface; the classic seat fabrics (grey and black) have a smooth, woven surface. Both seat fabrics are machine washable. The one we have and pictured here is the multi plush seat fabric.
There are a few reasons that I think most babies will love this infant seat.
- The seat bounces up and down and sways from side to side, just like parents do when comforting their babies. It features five unique motions and five speed options. My baby loved the seat the instant that we turned on the motions.
- Additionally there are four built-in soothing sounds, or connect any MP3 device to the mamaRoo infant seat. I really think the sounds help to relax him and they are not annoying to listen to all day (you mamas know what I mean). It also offers full recline to allow baby to lie back and relax or sit up and play.
My little one prefers the waves sounds and the kangaroo motions! You can see in the video where I explain how easy it is to try out the different settings. One thing that I am sad about is that he will have to graduate from the mamaRoo infant seat pretty soon . He is getting too advanced to stay in the seat all by himself. The seat is for infants up to 25 pounds or that are sitting up on their own.
