Throughout next year I will be posting some of the recipes that I grew up with. Some of them came out of the cookbook above which is the Betty Crocker 1969 version. Some of them were just passed on to me from family members and good friends. All of them are special because they are memories. Part of the reason I am doing this is just to have a quick access to all the recipes I love and another reason is so that I can share them with you all! I was thinking of having a little link up every month if there were others that wanted to share their heirloom recipes… what do you think? I think it might be a fun way to get to know each others’ traditions!

I have this cookbook back from when I got married the first time in 1974. Its seen some better days too. Its raggedy but I still pull it out every once in a while.
