I find it hard to figure out what to buy for my middle sister at Christmas.  She is pretty picky on styles and her tastes in clothing and home decor is a little different from mine.  Growing up we were like night and day, but over the years we have found that we do have plenty in common.  One of those things is a love for coffee!  I recently received a Keurig® 2.0 for Christmas and ended up loving everything about it.  I knew it would be the perfect gift for my sister and so I had her over for a coffee tasting and surprise Keurig® 2.0 Christmas gift!

Keurig 2.0 Coffee!

My sister likes her coffee simple, but I like to be a little more adventurous.  That’s one of the reasons I love the Keurig® 2.0 so much!  She can have her medium roast coffee and I can have a much darker roast with the K-Cup packs.  If we want the same kind of coffee I could also make 4 cups with the Keurig® 2.0 K-Carafe packs.  I wasn’t sure how the Keurig® would be able to brew the different beverages correctly, but then found out the new Keurig® 2.0 features Keurig® 2.0 Brewing Technology™.  The Keurig® 2.0 reads each lid so that you get the perfect beverage automatically!  Chocolate Truffle Mocha!!I love adding a little something extra in my coffee and so I added these truffles and some chocolate gelato to my coffee to make it a Chocolate Truffle Mocha!   Yum! This is a great use for chocolates received during the holidays.   Just add a couple of truffles to your cup and add coffee on top.  I added a little chocolate gelato to mine, but you can add creamer and sugar if that is your style too!   My sister made a much simpler coffee for hers and it was also great.  The Keurig® has over 400 beverage varieties from 60 brands so it’s easy to please everyone… even a picky sister!  Out of all the brands they also have 10 of America’s best selling brands represented!  My sister ended up trying out the Green Mountain Coffee for hers and I had the Donut shop Dark variety.

Chocolate Truffle Mocha! Easy Coffee Recipe!

She says she likes her coffee “light” and so the medium roast was perfect for her.  I like mine on the dark side and I loved the way the dark roast tasted with the chocolate truffles and chocolate gelato!

Keurig 2.0 Coffee brewing

I asked her if she liked my new Keurig® 2.0 to get a feel for how much she would like her gift.  She said she loved it.  I then asked her if she wanted one.  She looked at me with a look on her face that said, “Of course I do”.  I asked her if she wanted one one more time because I wanted to emphasize the fact that I was giving her one.  She was thoroughly excited about it!

Pouring Coffee into Mug!

After that we played around with mine a little more and made some more coffee (of course)!  We both love our new Keurig® 2.0 brewing systems!  It certainly made buying for my picky sister a little easier this year!  How about you?  Who is the pickiest person on your gift list?  If they love coffee then a Keurig 2.0 brewing system from Walmart is the way to go!

Okay, so I'm totally opening a box of truffles I had on the side as an "extra" "just in case" gift...because I must try this!! Sounds yummy. Thanks for the great idea to sweeten up my coffee. :)
