My makeup bag was desperately needing a face-lift (pun intended)! It’s been years since I changed up my makeup. Needless to say, my skin has changed over the past 10 years and the dreaded wrinkles are starting to make an appearance. I hate to admit this, but I usually just put on some eyeliner and a dab of lip gloss and I am good to go… but after these before and after pics I have changed my mind! I really like the look that I achieved with just $20.00. Isn’t that unreal? e.l.f. eyes lips face is known for their really awesome and affordable makeup line. When I went to Target to buy the products I really didn’t know what to expect, but e.l.f. totally exceeded my expectations!
One of the reasons that I have always just “stuck” to the basics is because makeup (good quality) is typically not very affordable . It’s not uncommon to see a foundation go for $10.00 or $15.00! On top of that, there is always the risk that I won’t like it or that the color will be way off. That is why when I made my way to the e.l.f. section at Target I was relieved to know that my $20.00 would stretch a long way!
I even ventured out to try some more exciting products like this Natural Lash Kit! I figured that for a buck I couldn’t go wrong. You can see the rest of my shopping trip on Google Plus.
Here is a run down of what I used:
e.l.f. flawless finish foundation in “sand”
e.l.f. healthy glow bronzing powder (for lower cheeks, nose, chin and forehead) I applied this with the e.l.f. total face brush
e.l.f. tone correcting concealer (for blemishes and under the eyes)
e.l.f. brightening eye color in “drama” (I applied using the “smoky eye” technique)
e.l.f. eyeliner and shadow stick in “black”
e.l.f. natural lash kit
e.l.f. matte lip color in nearly nude
e.l.f. shimmering facial whip (applied to lips)
I think that it looks better than what I have used before! So what do you think? Tell me what e.l.f. products you would buy for $20.00?

I usually don't comment on beauty blogs but your makeup looks SO GOOD! You applied it so well and the colors are extremely flattering. The "look" has a very sexy 60s-esque vibe. I wish you could do my makeup!

Oh, your smokey eye came out way better than mine. I must practice more with the awesome elf makeup I just got. Do you have a tutorial that you used?

Hey Kelly! I didn't use a tutorial... I just kind of winged it from stuff that I have seen before on Pinterest.
