We love to have guests over in the summer. Late nights spent playing games, birthday parties and family get togethers always happen at our house. One thing that always gets a lot of use is our bathroom… no matter what time of year. I like to keep it clean and fresh at all times. One of my favorite things to do is provide my guests with Kleenex Hand Towels to wipe their hands off!
I recently thought it would be fun to make a holder for the Kleenex hand towels to go into. I think it turned out awesome!
The great thing about having these hand towels in the bathroom is that everyone gets their own towel every-time they wash their hands. If you have kids, you know how important this is when everyone starts wiping their hands on the same towel… lots of germs get spread around! We only have one bathroom… and 5 of us… one towel can get YUCK! The Kleenex hand towels solve this problem for us!
This is how I made my holder: First I spray painted a wicker basket that I found at Walmart in the bath section silver.
Our bathroom is 50’s style pink… so I matched the color with ribbon and added in some coral to make it even more modern.
I threaded the ribbon through and tied it in a knot in the middle. I cut the ribbon ends off and just left them hanging down.
So stylish! I love the pop of coral in the ribbon and the Kleenex hand Towels are look very nice popping out the top of the basket. I just love how it turned out!

I think that clean towels for guests is a great idea, but I just can't get past the amount of paper waste. So I just set out clean ones when they come ;). Question, blog related, how did you get a GFC widget your blog? Is this blogger or Wordpress or other? THANKS!
