Bigelow Tea Love {a Teacup of Memories}

I was raised on tea!  My mom never liked coffee, but she loved her tea!  I have always been a big tea drinker as a result.  The Bigelow brand of teas has a special place in our family traditions and so I wanted to share what Bigelow tea means to me.

Have you ever noticed that certain smells or tastes can instantly transport you to a memory?   There isn’t a pistachio pudding that doesn’t remind me of family reunions and the smell of Glade Hawaiian scent will forever remind me of my Grandma.  The same thing happens whenever I make a cup of Bigelow Constant Comment Tea.  I am instantly reminded of my mom.  It doesn’t even have to be the smell, but the box always reminds me of her too.

Friends and family would always give her boxes of the Constant Comment tea as Christmas gifts because they knew how much she loved it.  Her love of this tea has passed on to my sisters and I too.

I not only love the Bigelow Constant Comment Tea, but I have more recently been hooked on the Bigelow Cinnamon Stick Tea and the Bigelow Pomegranate Green Tea.   The Pomegranate Green Tea  is great for the springtime and summer served with ice.   Once the cool air hits in the fall I am back to the Constant Comment or Cinnamon Stick tea served up warm.   Really all of their teas that I have tried have been smooth, well rounded and high quality.  If you usually don’t associate high quality with teas that you can find at the supermarket… then you need to try Bigelow teas!  Their teas are sealed in a foil pouch which really makes the tea taste fresh. Bigelow also has herbal teas like Chamomile and Peppermint.   I remember drinking the Bigelow Peppermint tea when I was pregnant with my first born.  When I was at full term with her I had heard that Peppermint tea would bring on labor.  It didn’t work for me,  but at least I had some great tasting tea!

I always wonder what kind of things will remind my kids of me someday.  I am pretty certain that Bigelow tea will remind them of memories with me.  I enjoy having mommy/ daughter tea time with them and I always let them pick out the flavor they want.  My girls  really enjoy the Bigelow Constant Comment Tea.   I guess it runs in the family!  😉

Speaking of family… I think it’s really awesome that the Bigelow company is family owned and uses tea that is grown at their Plantation in South Carolina.   It’s great to know that when I buy Bigelow tea I am supporting a US family owned company.  I hope they know how much we appreciate their product.   I feel a connection to their family because I know that they are as passionate about tea as my own family is.

Bigelow tea makes me think of family, freshness, and quality.  It’s a tradition I know my family will enjoy often!
