10 Pizza Appetizer Recipes! Easy entertaining ideas using pizza ingredients!

We always had friends and family at our house for parties and get togethers when I was growing up.  My mom loved to entertain and I remember looking forward to her fun parties.  I’m sure that I get my love for party planning and hosting from her.  Parties and get togethers don’t need to be big extravagant events to be fun.  My favorites are special dinners with just our family or having a party with a few close friends.  One thing that I have learned about entertaining is that easy recipes are always best.  I love taking classic foods and changing them up a bit.  I can’t think of anything easier for entertaining than pizza… so here are a few of my favorite recipes.

These 10 Pizza Appetizer Recipes for Easy Entertaining are sure to please any party guest!

Easy entertaining ideas using pizza ingredients!!

Pizza is such a versatile food and I love using frozen pizzas or pre-made pizza crust and topping them with my own ingredients. A little parmesan, fresh tomatoes, and basil can make any cheese pizza into a special meal or appetizer.   I often invite my guests to chat with me in the kitchen as I prepare the food.  My kitchen is a workhorse and gets constant use.  One of my favorite parts about our home is the kitchen.  Since it’s the part of our house we spend the most time in, I am always looking for ways to improve it when our budget allows.

Getting Pizza Out of the Oven

I’m grateful to have a working oven, but if I were to have anything I wanted I would invest in a new GE Slate Double Wall Oven.  Then I would also have all my other appliances match it.

Having a GE Slate double oven would really cut out a lot of time waiting for cooked food.  I could be baking several dishes, even with different temperature settings,  at the same time.   I also love the new Slate finish on these appliances.

Have you seen them yet?  I think they go well with light or dark cabinets and give an elegant look to the whole kitchen.  GE Slate appliances would look spectacular with my granite countertops!  A girl can dream, right? 🙂

I was browsing HGTV the other night and totally fell in love with the sample pics of kitchens with the new GE Slate appliances.  My fave is the one with the green cabinets!

Fun fact:  When I was a high school senior I had to give an answer to the question of what I wanted to be when I grew up.  I said I wanted to be an Interior Designer on HGTV! lol  I may not be living that particular dream, but I like to think I’ve got pretty good design style and entertaining style. Of course, the most important thing is that we have a great time together and we always do… especially when pizza is involved.

Do you love to entertain?  What are your favorite appetizers or recipes?
