I love short cuts! I especially love short cuts in the kitchen. With 5 hungry people to feed and kids that are begging for food… a short cut can go a LONG way! I recently discovered Land O Lakes Sauté Express Sauté starters and I am hooked! The Sauté starters are the perfect shortcut for a delicious meal! Land O Lakes has a blog with some awesome recipes using the Sauté starters and I decided to try out the Garlic, Cumin and Black Bean Burritos recipe.
To start out the recipe you will need the Garlic and Herb Land O Lakes Sauté Express Sauté starter. I found the Land O Lakes Sauté Express Sauté starters at Walmart. These little cubes of seasoned butter and olive oil have the perfect mix of seasonings! The first thing I noticed when opening the package was the wonderful aroma of fresh garlic and herbs.
The recipe was easy to make. Just chop your veggies and have them handy.
Melt the Sauté starter until bubbling… (BTW the smell was so intoxicating I wanted to lick the pan- don’t worry I didn’t!)
Throw the veggies in until they are softened. After they are finished cooking fill the burrito with Land O Lakes pepper-jack cheese and the mixture. Roll it up burrito style and cook for a few minutes on each side.

I think these burritos will surprise you like they did me. The sweetness of the corn balanced all the savory flavors in the other veggies. These burritos are so tasty and filling! I really couldn’t believe how much flavor the Land O Lakes Sauté Express starters added. The best part is that I have plenty of the starters left over to make more delicious meals throughout the week. I can’t wait to try the other recipes from the Land O Lakes blog like the Greek Lamb Pita with Tzatziki sauce, Weeknight Shrimp Pad Thai, Skillet Lasagna and the Lemon Pepper Turkey Mini Burgers! I love to put variety into my weeknight meals and these recipes are perfect to change things up all week long.
