Peach Shortcake!
Ingredients
- I package Individual sponge cakes )usually sold by the strawberries)
- 1 can of sliced peaches
- Homemade Whipped cream with 1 tsp. of almond extract recipe included below
- cinnamon for dusting
Instructions
- Once you have your whipped cream made just place the cake in the middle of a plate and put the peaches in the middle. You can also add some peaches around the sides. Pipe on the whipped cream using a large star tip or use store bought whipped cream. Sprinkle on some cinnamon and enjoy!
Notes
To make the whipped cream combine 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and 1 tsp. of almond extract (you can replace the almond with vanilla if you don't like the almond). Beat on high until stiff peaks form. Enjoy!
