1packet of hot cocoa mix mixed with 1/4 tsp ginger and 1/4 tsp cinnamonany brand or variety will work as long as you include the right amount of water in your instructions, affiliates
2Tbsp. of sprinklesaffiliate; Christmas colors look great
Mini Marshmallow Bitsaffiliate; use only the hard kind that you find in a container by the hot cocoa mixes at Walmart
Gingerbread m&m's... about 2 Tbsp. Enough to fill to the top
I recommend food safe ornaments. If that isn't a concernaffiliate, you can find them here .
Funnel that will fit in the ornament for filling
Ribbon in Christmas colors to tie at the topaffiliate
Take the top off the ornament first then take the funnel and place it into the ornament. Use the Hot cocoa first and pour it in. Make sure to shake the hot cocoa to a straight layer before going to the next layer. Next use the sprinkles and again make sure that it is even before going to the next layer. I sometimes use something small like a skewer to push things around if they are not even. Add the marshmallows next then the m&m's. Put the top back on the ornament. You should not need anything to keep the mixture inside the ornament if you use the ones I called for, but if you use a different kind then make sure to place a piece of foil at the top before inserting the ornament top. It is not recommended that you hang these ornaments after they are filled. Use ribbon to decorate the top and include directions to make the hot cocoa. Your directions should state that the mixture should be combined with the exact amount of water or milk that the hot cocoa calls for on the packet.
