During the busy season it’s easy to get distracted with a to do list and forget what is really important. This year has been different for us. We have been thinking of ways that we can give more to our community and world than ever before. My girls were able to sort items for the needy this past week for 4 hours and they are planning to do it again! I was so proud of how they worked and they can’t wait to do it again. I know this is something that they will never forget. Our family is also providing action packs for the needy in other countries this year. It’s been great to see the joy that giving brings to our family. Remember my post earlier about UPS #WishesDelivered? The UPS has a #WishesDelivered campaign. For every wish submitted, UPS will donate $1.00 to one of their charity partners, up to $100,000 total donation!
Today I get to share with you what my wish is!
My wish is that there would be enough financial assistance to the Salvation Army to provide Holiday dinners, clothing, and toys for families in need this year.
I think the Salvation Army is doing a great job of serving those in our city that need assistance and I would like to see everyone in our community stepping up this year and providing money and time. It’s always great to see all the volunteers outside the stores ringing the bells every year! I know that the more good we do the better this world is… even if it seems small it can be a big help to someone in need.
I just love this video of the experience that UPS provided for that little boy! He is so cute delivering all those packages. I am sure that he had the time of his life.
How to Submit a Wish:
Post your wish to Twitter or Instagram with the campaign hashtag #WishesDelivered and it will automatically be submitted. Another option is to go direct to the #WishesDelivered site and manually submit there. Then come back and share with me what your wish is! Remember, submissions should be selfless and meaningful and made on behalf of another person. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
Thanks for stopping by!
