My punch bowl was getting a little rusty recently. So when my mom invited me over for her annual Christmas party I knew what I wanted to bring – Creamy Cranberry Punch! Punch really makes a party feel more exciting to me. I am not sure why that is, but I do think most of the best parties contain a great punch recipe. How else are people going to mingle without meeting up at the punch bowl? 🙂 In my part of the country a party just isn’t the same without punch and punch is not the same without 7UP® and Canada Dry Ginger Ale®! This refreshing and creamy punch recipe is sure to be a hit during the holidays!
This recipe is a spin on the classic punch recipes I remember growing up. We always used sherbet with the 7UP® and Canada Dry Ginger Ale®, but I decided to try Vanilla Ice Cream with this one. Everyone loved the vanilla ice cream with this punch! I am glad I chose to change it up a bit.
I added some cranberries and mint leaves as a garnish and it really made the punch look festive!
- 1 bottle 7UP® (2 liter)
- 1 bottle Canada Dry Ginger Ale® (2 Liter)
- 4 cups cranberry cocktail juice
- 4 cups pineapple juice
- 1½ quart vanilla ice cream
- optional: cranberries and mint leaves for garnish
- Pour All ingredients into a large punch bowl. Add ice cream by the scoopful. Add 3 mint leaves and 3 cranberries if desired. Serve right away for best taste! Enjoy!
