The 5 pound mark… the 5 pound mark!!! I know it’s just a number and really it’s the inches lost that really matter, but I love seeing that number go down on the scale! Nutrisystem is really working and I am starting to feel so much better overall. I have so much more energy by taking care of my health. I have to admit though… I was at a conference this weekend and was not able to do the Nutrisystem plan for two days straight. I ran out of most of my pantry items and knew that I couldn’t bring the frozen items with me. I used the eating out guide and that really helped. Luckily we had lots veggies to eat at the conference and sandwiches were the main menu items. I also made sure that I didn’t over-do the desserts. I was able to eat just one bite of my brownie and a little over half of a small piece of cheesecake. I just told myself that eating past my hunger wasn’t worth the weight gain and it worked! Was I perfect… no, but I think I successfully managed my meals at the conference.
So without further ado… here are the totals this week. My main inch loss was in the bust, but I’ll take it!
Looks like I am right on target to lose 20 pounds. I am very happy with that. One thing that many people worry about when their weight loss is finished is in gaining it all back. Nutrisystem teaches you how to portion control and so this is less of a problem. One thing to consider with any program is why you overeat. I know for me I overeat when I am stressed or worried. Since I now recognize my shortcomings I can more easily think of things to comfort myself in times of trouble instead of food. For myself… my comfort should be coming from my relationship with Jesus Christ. I am making an effort to remember this and draw strength from Him. It’s not an easy process, but I am glad that I have Nutrisystem to help me through this.
Next week I will have a picture and video update! 😉
