My Nutrisystem order came in and I’ve been enjoying it since last Sunday! I’ve only tried a couple of days worth of food, but I am really impressed with it. Just like with other foods there are things that I like more than others, but it’s definitely palatable I have to admit that I was a little worried about the taste, but so far it’s all been very good! Some of the items I’ve tried are actually amazing! I took some pictures so that you can get an idea of what my typical day looks like on the Nutrisystem plan:
Doesn’t it look good? As you can tell the plan calls for lots of fruits and veggies to be added in as well as items rich in protein. I love the Protein Shakes in the morning… they really curb my appetite all day. Also being able to eat veggies all the time gives me an excuse to munch on carrots and peppers whenever I want!
Here is my weigh in results for week 1. It kind of feels weird to be sharing my weightloss on the world wide web, but here you go:
I’ve been trying to lose weight since January and 1 pound is what I might lose in 2 weeks doing my own plan… so 2.6 pounds in 7 days is amazing to me! I am actually eating more on the Nutrisystem than I was on my own. On the weekends we would eat out and then I would go way over and gain weight easily because I was not eating enough during the week… It’s a bad bad cycle! Nutrisystem is teaching me how to portion control and how to eat consistently. I can tell already that it is working… eat more (of the right things) to lose more!
